The Offspring is an underestimated rock band in my opinion. One tends to forget bands after a while, but I can never forget the Offspring. Sure sometimes I look at the displayed song name in my mp3-player and start wondering what song that is again? However it only takes two seconds of the intro to remind me and from there I know all the lyrics even. That must be one of the things distinguishing a great band.

I found this intriguing mind game the other day where you're supposed to tell the story of your life using only song names from ONE BAND or ARTIST. I just had to take a stab at it and made my life according to Dean Martin. If it sounds as fun to you as it did to me, just copy the questions and delete my answers and choose your own artist or band.

Locomondo
I just had to start with a post containing something silly and cheerful! - Locomondo, "Liubi liubi, I love you"
As I'm a bit of a language nerd I just have to love this song Romania entered the Eurovision song contest with 2007. It's a cute song about how love is the same all over the world, so basically they sing the same thing in English, Italian, Spanish, Russian, French and Romanian. It triggers my language nerve (if there is such a thing) and I do my utmost to sing along to all the languages. I suppose the reason to why I like this song so much is because it always makes me smile and I think that is important when it comes to music. You want to feel something, anyway, and this song surely does!

Welcome to this music blog where we'll be discovering some cool music together!
Some of the stuff that will be posted here you may already know but I hope I'll be able to show you things new to you as well... I haven't figured out exactly what type of music to expose on the website yet. I love all sorts of music!
I'll get some blogging help from a friend of mine, Eibhlín, who's big in to world music and jazz. If you have any specific genre you want to read about feel free to add a comment!
